Location: Beautiful countryside venue


Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum


Are you a passionate and resilient kitchen leader ready to take the reins of a fast-paced back-of-house operation? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our client's beautiful venue and lead their kitchen team to deliver high-quality, fresh food with consistency and flair.


Kitchen Manager - About the Role:


As Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the BOH (Back of House) operation in our client's restaurant. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient service, managing and inspiring the kitchen team, and working closely with the F&B Manager to deliver a fantastic dining experience for our guests.


Kitchen Manager - Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high standards of food quality and service

  • Support the F&B Manager in recruitment, training, and team development

  • Maintain strong control of food margins through effective stock and cost management

  • Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are consistently met

  • Manage kitchen KPIs and ensure budget adherence

  • Maintain high morale and foster a positive team culture

  • Operate effectively in a busy, all-year-round hospitality environment


Kitchen Manager - What We’re Looking For:



  • Previous experience at Sous Chef/Second Chef/HeadChef/Kitchen Manager level in a fast-pace, high pressure environment

  • Passion for cooking fresh, seasonal food

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred)

  • Excellent understanding of stock control, GP margins, and kitchen cost management

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety & Allergens 

  • A team player with resilience and a positive, can-do attitude

  • A UK Driving Licence & Transport is essential for this role due to location
